REFERNCE POLICY
For Clients:
I’m happy to provide a reference for anyone I’ve had the pleasure of meeting within the past 10 years—but to keep things smooth and respectful for both of us, please follow these simple guidelines:
-
Three's the charm:
You're welcome to use me as a reference up to three times per encounter. After that, a thoughtful thank-you gift is appreciated to keep those glowing recommendations coming. -
No need to ask first:
You don’t need to message me in advance for permission. Consider this your standing “yes.” One less thing cluttering my inbox—for both of us. -
Keep me in the loop (only if needed):
The only time I need to hear from you directly is if your contact info has changed. If a provider can't reach you using the details I have, you’ll need to update me first. -
Email only, please:
Tell your provider to email me directly or simply refer her to this page. I don’t provide references by text or phone—email keeps it organized and professional. -
Full honesty, always:
When I reply to her, I will share how long ago we met and whether you’ve ever canceled, including how you handled it. What she does with that information is entirely up to her.
Thank you for respecting my time and boundaries—it helps me continue offering this favor with grace and ease.
For providers requesting a reference:
I’m happy to provide a reference for any client I’ve seen within the past 10 years. To keep things smooth and respectful for all of us, please follow the instructions below carefully.
If you’ve had a negative experience with someone I’ve previously vouched for, I’d appreciate knowing. I’ll make a note in my records to help others make informed decisions moving forward.
Please send your reference request to HeatherofVegas@gmail.com and be sure to include:
-
Your full name and your website
(I do not research or Google providers. I only give references to established professionals.) -
The client’s first and last name
-
The client’s email address and phone number
Please note: I cannot guarantee the behavior of any client. I can only speak to my own experience.
If you're wondering, “Is he safe to see?”—I can’t answer that definitively. What I can tell you is:
-
Whether I felt safe with him
-
My impression of his hygiene, manners, and general demeanor
-
Whether I would choose to see him again
Use your own screening tools and judgment to make the decision that’s right for you. I’ll always be honest and prompt in sharing what I know.
