REFERNCE POLICY
I am happy to give a reference to anyone I have met in the past 10 years, but I respectfully request you adhere to these guidelines;
1. For each instance we have met, feel free to use me around 3 times as a reference. After this, a nice thank you gift is appropriate to keep the references flowing.
2. Please do not ask me in advance if you can use me as a reference. This is one more item in my inbox to deal with. The answer is "yes", you can use me as a reference.
3. Only contact me about a reference if your contact information has changed. If she has a new phone number or email address that I don't have, you need to update that information with me first.
4. Tell the provider to contact me by email or direct her to this page. I do not like to give references via text or phone.
5. Understand that in my reply to her I will tell her how long ago we met and if you have ever canceled. Also I will let her know how you handled the cancelation. It is up to her to decide if she will accept the reference at that point.
For providers requesting a reference:
I am more than happy to provide a reference for any client I have seen in the past 10 years. Please let me know if you have a bad experience with anyone I have given a reference for and I will add that information to my notes to share with any future requests. Please include all the information below in an email to HeatherofVegas@gmail.com
-
Include your name and website. It is not my job to Google you. I only give references to established providers.
-
Include the client's first and last name.
-
Include the client's email and phone number.
I cannot guarantee the behavior of any client. All I can tell you is my experience. I actually hate it when someone asks, "Is he safe to see?" I can tell you if I felt safe with him. I can tell you my thoughts on his hygiene and manners. I can tell you if I would see him again. It is up to you to take a wholistic approach to screening and decide if you want to spend time with him.
